Steel Pan Manufacturers

Trinidad and Tobago Instruments LTD. "Panmakers to the World". Laventille-based steelpan manufacturing company founded nine years ago by current president, Michael P. Cooper and two other shareholders- Metal Industries Ltd. And Pan Trinbago, which has a two percent shareholding. It has a registered brand name of "panland" and distributes steelpans to customers around the globe including to the United States, The United Kingdom and Italy. Steel Pan Bands in Trinidad and Tobago

BP Renegades - formerly the Amaco Renegades the Renegades are one of the oldest surviving steelbands founded somewhere around 1945. Several times Panorama champs often with arrangements by the Lord Kitchener.

Steel Pan Soloists

Robert Greenidge - arguably the most succesful player of the Steel Pan. Greenidge can be heard soloing on Grover Washington Jr. "Just the Two of Us" also see the Afiwi Profile on Robert Greenidge.

Len "Boogsie" Sharpe - Pan virtuoso and arranger. Considered to be the best by many. Arranges for Phase II.
